Dr. David M. Culpepper will reestablish his practice at HopeHealth at the beginning of August.  Dr. Culpepper has spent 24 years in the medical field, specializing in Internal Medicine.  Before joining HopeHealth, Dr. Culpepper worked as a Hospitalist at Carolina's Hospital, and prior to that he practiced at Palmetto Internal Medicine of Florence.  "I'm impressed with the reputation of HopeHealth in the community and the obvious benefit it is for patients who need regular health care and medications but can't afford it otherwise.  I chose to come on board because I want to be able to focus on caring for patients long-term and to enjoy the friendships that develop over time," he said.

Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Dr. Culpepper attended medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia.  He completed his residency at Richland Memorial Hospital and Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina.  "I chose to go into the medical field because I enjoy seeing patients improve and take charge of maintaining their own health," he said.  In his spare time, Dr. Culpepper enjoys biking, hiking, and reading.

Dr. Culpepper will reestablish his practice in Florence at HopeHealth's newest location at 230 Cherokee Road.   Beginning in August, Dr. Culpepper will see patients from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Appointments can be scheduled in advance by calling 843-413-3258.
