HopeHealth to Begin Accepting Appointments for Affordable Care Act Enrollment: Insurance Specialists to assist Florence, Orangeburg, Williamsburg and Clarendon Counties With Insurance Options

posted on Tuesday, October 13, 2015

Florence, S.C. (October 13, 2015) HopeHealth is now accepting appointments and will begin meeting with consumers needing assistance with enrolling in to the health insurance marketplace on November 1. Appointments will be available at HopeHealth's sites located in Florence, Lake City, Timmonsville, Manning and Kingstree.

President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act (ACA) into law on March 23, 2010, essentially putting consumers back into the driver seat of their health care. All Americans now have access to affordable health insurance options.

HopeHealth's insurance specialists, who are certified by the Federally Facilitated Marketplace as application specialists, will walk consumers through the qualification process and explain all coverage options. Individuals who qualify for the marketplace must be enrolled by December 15, 2015 in order to begin receiving coverage by January 1, 2016.

According to HopeHealth Insurance Specialist Supervisor Jonathon Jelonek, there are a few steps you can take to prepare for your appointment.

"Be sure to bring your 2014 tax returns and recent pay stubs for each consumer that will be on the application," Jelonek explained. "If you have registered for the marketplace in the past, please bring your username and password as well as the log in information for the email address you used to set up your account. This will help expedite the enrollment process."
